Lien rights

Mechanic's-lien windows are jurisdiction-specific.

Each state sets its own preliminary-notice, claim-of-lien, and notice-to-owner windows — and the deadlines vary between residential, public, and direct-contractor work. Drumtap does not publish a cross-state statutory reference today; the controlling statute for the state the project sits in is the answer, and a construction attorney who works in that jurisdiction is the right source for your specific job. See the FAQ for dispute-evidence and lien-waiver questions.

What Drumtap does focus on is the AR reconciliation — what was billed and what the GC's portal paid, line item by line item. See how the product reconciliation flow works in practice on the how-it-works page. The lien calendar is yours and your counsel's call. Talk to a construction attorney for any deadline that has to land inside a specific window.
